Iranawila child murder suspect on arrest

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The police media spokesman confirms chief suspect of the abuse and murder of the 9-year-old child in the Nayaru fishing village in Mulativu is on the arrest. The body of the child who was sexually abused before the murder was found in a jungle area after 2 days he was recorded missing. In the investigations, it was found that CCTV footage of a nearby shop providing evidence, the suspect taking the child away with him. The post-mortem examination conducted at Chillaw Hospital revealed that the child was sexually abused by the suspect before murdering.
