Final phase of Air Force cycle race begins

COLOMBO (News 1st) –The Air Force cycle race which was co-organized by Sri Lanka Airforce and the Cycle Federation began its 3rd phase today (March 04) from Polonnaruwa to Ampara covering a distance of 150km. Marking the celebrations of the 67th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force, 19th Air Force cycle race started on the 2^nd of March from Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters in Colombo. The race is an immense success with the participation of 140 cyclists who covers 440km in total in 3 days. Sajith Hasantha who represents the Sri Lanka Ports Authority won the 1^st phase of the race. The 2^ndphase was won by Janaka Hemantha who represents the Sri Lanka Navy. Sports First together with the Champions Network are the official media sponsors for the event.
