Elections Commission extends deadline to submit LG member lists

COLOMBO( News 1st) - The deadline for political parties to submit the list of council member names for local councils has been extended up to the 8th of this month. The decision was made considering the requests made by political parties and independent groups. According to the newly set deadline, the list of member who was elected at the local government polls will be gazetted on the 9th.
