JO to take the streets demanding General Election

Govt must listen to the people: MP Prasanna Ranatunga (VIDEO)

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Joint Opposition states that it will take to the streets demanding for a general election. MP Prasanna Ranatunga, elaborating on the Joint Opposition's plan stated that they cannot continue to "paste plasters on this wound." He states that the people say that the government must change and therefore he says that the government must be dissolved and a general election must be called. He further states that the government must listen to the mandate of the people. “Even if you change the ministries, it is the same group of thieves who will remain. It is like, if you are done with this take over the next, " said MP Prasanna Ranatunga He said that they will initiate their move from March 07 from Nugegoda and they will carry the "Mahinda breeze" across the country to send the "current government home.” Further,  according to MP Ranatunga they will conduct a massive demonstration in Colombo and surround Colombo.“The Government must listen to the people", he said. https://www.facebook.com/NewsfirstSL/videos/1853960394664210/
