COLOMBO (News 1st) – Minister Mahinda Amaraweera states that the cabinet re-shuffle will take place tomorrow, Sunday February 25.
According to Minister Amaraweera, General Secretary of the UPFA, there will be changes in some ministeries and the people hope those changes will be beneficial for the country.
He further stated that the people also hope the talented will be given their due place and that the amendments will take place to identify the weaknesses.
The minister was then asked about his hope on receiving a ministry. He responded by stating that he is not hoping for a certain Ministry – that he will accept whatever ministry he is given.
Further, he stated that he has successfully worked in every ministry that was given to him.He also stated that he wonders if he will be given another ministry as he has performed well.
“ We don’t know what will happen tomorrow. The President will decide. If he says there is nothing for me, I will have to remain as an MP”, said Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
