SAITM Medical students to be transferred to KDU

The medical students of SAITM (South Asia Institute of Technology and Medicine) are set to be transferred to the Medical Faculty of Kotalawala Defence University. This decision was taken at a meeting chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena, said the President's Media Division. According to the President's Media, another decision has been reached to examine the qualifications of the students (close to 1000) currently enrolled at SAITM, prior to the transfer.
