Passenger plane crashes in Iran mountains

A passenger plane carrying around 60 people has crashed in a mountainous area of central Iran. According to the report, the plane came down in the Zagros mountains near the city of Semirom in Isfahan province while flying between Tehran and the south-western city of Yasuj. An emergency services spokesman stated that all emergency forces are on alert. Further, it was reported that the plane had 50 to 60 passengers when the plane went down. The said plane was operated by Aseman Airlines. No casualties have been reported so far. Bad weather reportedly prevented an emergency helicopter reaching the site.
