Arjuna Mahendran only has time until midnight tonight to appear before CID

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Criminal Investigations Department informed court on February 2nd that there is a need to bring the former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran to Sri Lanka. Thereby, the Fort Magistrate issued an order via Interpol for Arjuna Mahendran to appear before the CID and provide a statement before February 15th. Mahendran is yet to arrive at the CID. He has time until midnight-tonight to meet the Director of CID and provide a statement. According to facts reported to Court by the CID via a B report, Arjuna Mahendran is accused of conspiring and committing a criminal breach of trust at the controversial auction on February 27, 2015.
