Special LG Election bus services to hit the roads

COLOMBO (Newsfirst):The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) says, a special bus service will be available from the evening of Wednesday, February 7 in line with the upcoming Local Government Election.

Deputy General Manager of the SLTB, R. T. Chandrasiri said 150 additional buses will be deployed. He added that the Elections Commission and the district secretariats have requested for 1,000 buses for election activities. The Deputy deneral manager added, additional buses will also be deployed on February 11 and 12 to facilitate passengers who are travelling to cast their votes.
