The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the United States launched its Dual Enrollment Programme in Sri Lanka at an event held in Colombo yesterday, January 19.
The programme was launched with Gateway Graduate School, the higher education and professional development arm of the Gateway Group.
The official launch of the programme, which will enable students to obtain a degree in aviation and aerospace, was graced by a group including the Vice Chancellor of Embry-Riddle’s Asia Campus Dr. Graham Hunt, its Director, Kristhi Chatterjee and Chairman of the Gateway Group, Dr. Harsha Alles.
Dr. Harsha Alles, expressing his views, stated that Embry-Riddle is the world’s largest and oldest aeronautical university ranked first for the past 15 years in the US.
“And today with Embry-Riddle, we signed an MoU to introduce their dual enrollment programme, where students can complete almost a year of their degree while they pursue their A/L studies”, said Dr. Harsha Alles, Chairman, Gateway Group.
