The first ODI between India and Sri Lanka is currently underway at the Dharamshala in India. Winning the toss, Sri Lankan skipper Thisara Perera invited India to bat first.
Getting on to an emphatic start, SL was able to take the wicket of opener, Shikar Dhawan at 0. Rohit Sharma followed shortly after with 2 runs.
The first five wickets of the Indian team fell between 16 runs.
Pacer Suranga Lakmal recorded his best bowling performance with an economy of 13 runs for 4 in 4 overs.
