Thundershowers have been predicted for a number of areas across Sri Lanka Tuesday, November 28, due to ‘Low Level Atmospheric Disturbance’ in the vicinity.
The Department of Meteorology has predicted fairly heavy falls around 75-100 mm in;
Several areas were severely affected by a drought in the recent past.
Of these drought-hit areas, there were heavy rains for some, namely; Galenbindunu-Wewa, Horowpathana and Kahatagasdigiliya -all in the Anuradhapura district
