Former MP and current Deputy Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister’s Office, Rosy Senanayake says that at no point during her membership at the Committee on Public Enterprises in Parliament, did she illegally divulge any information to any party.
Issuing a statement on Thursday evening, Senanayake noted that while her son’s name had been mentioned by an individual before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on Bond Issuances, no views were expressed affirming his statement.
In her statement, Senanayake claims that the conversation in question took place in 2016, adding that she was not a Member of Parliament at the time.
Rosy Senanayake states that she rejects the allegations levelled at her and her son.
