The Northern Shores of Sri Lanka have experienced unusual marine phenomena.

A pod of whales beached in Sampur, Trincolamee, and in the early hours of the morning hundreds of thousand of dead fish, were seen floating along the shoreline in the seas of Mullaitivu.
