The Public Service Labour Officers Association says, a stock of posters bearing the official seal of the Commissioner General of Labour, containing information against the officers engaged in the strike action, have been distributed among members of the public.
Chairman of the Association, Iresh Chinthaka charges that the said posters were distributed with the knowledge of the Commissioner General of Labour.
News 1st contacted Commissioner General of Labour, Chandani Amaratunge in this regard.
The Commissioner General said that she is not connected with the said distribution of posters, adding that she could not make any further statements as she was engaged in a number of official duties.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Public Service Labour Officers Association said, their strike action will continue since discussions held with the subject minister were unsuccessful.
