The parents of the two youth who disappeared after they drowned in the seas off Pasikudah, have committed suicide by hanging themselves.
Police said that the two youth had disappeared at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, after they went for a sea bath. Their bodies have not been recovered as yet.
The two victims were 21 and 18 years old.
Police said that the parents who were traumatised by the incident, had committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree in their house.
