A fire that broke out near the Angulana Train Station in Moratuwa on Sunday morning has been doused. According to the Fire Fighting Unit, one house has been completely destroyed as a result of the fire.

Further, the Fire Fighting Unit added added that extensive measures were taken to prevent the fire from spreading to the neighbouring residences.

The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. Investigations have been launched in relation to the incident.
