Premier Wickremesinghe opens new administrative building of Buhari Hotel

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Thursday, declared open the new administration building of the Buhari Hotel,  which is a property owned by the United National Party. A group including Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam and Minister Kabir Hasheem were present for the event.

The new thre- storeyed administration building has been constructed in the premises of the UNP Headquarters, Sirikotha.

“What we want to do is to strengthen the country’s working community”,  said Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe,  who further pointed out that around 1.5 million Sri Lankans have gone to Saudi Arabia and other Middle-Eastern countries to earn around 300 dollars because you cannot earn 300 dollars in Sri Lanka. However,  a person should have a minimum wage of at least Rs.40,000. So let us work towards this.
