The Department of Examinations has issued a set of instructions for the candidates sitting for the Grade Five Scholarship Examination.
Commissioner General of examinations W.M.N.D.J. Pushpakumara stated that the candidates should be mindful of the alloted time period to complete the examination paper.
The first paper will be issued at 9.30 a.m. and will end at 10.15 a.m., giving the candidates a time period of 45 minutes to complete the paper. The second paper will be issued at 10.45 a.m. and end at 12 noon where candidates will be given one hour and 15 minutes to complete.
The Commissioner General of Examinations added that all candidates must be in their seat by 9 a.m.
All candidates of the examination should display their index number on the left side of their uniform and could use a pen or a pencil to answer the examination paper.
The candidates are advised to provide their index number correctly on the examination paper scholarship examination, which will be held tomorrow.
A total of 350,701 candidates will sit for the Grade Five Scholarship examination tomorrow. The examination will be conducted at 2,959 examination centres countrywide. A staff of over 28,000 will be deployed for the coordination of examination activities.
