Sri Lanka were able to put on 312 for the loss of eight wickets in their second innings at the close of play on day four of the third and final test against Australia.

Sri Lanka now lead Australia by 288 runs.

Sri Lanka were 22 for the loss of one at the start of day four at the SSC grounds. Kaushal Silva and Dinesh Chandimal put on a stand of 90 runs for the sixth wicket.

Kaushal Silva scored his third test century before being undone for 115 runs. Chandimal managed to score 43 runs before he was dismissed by Nathan Lyon.
