Pokemon Go’s creators have received requests by the city of Hiroshima in Japan to keep its ‘Pocket Monsters’ out of the memorials to victims of the atomic bomb.

It wants the monsters removed by the 6th of August, which is when an annual ceremony is held on the anniversary of the 1945 bombing.

The request to remove the virtual monsters is not a first, with operators of the Fukushima nuclear plant (highly radioactive after its 2011 meltdown) calling for the removal of Pokemon from its plants ealier.

The wildly popular Pokemon Go was released in Japan on Friday.
