Democrats have made historic move in American politics; making Hillary Clinton the first female presidential nominee of a major party in the nation’s history on Tuesday.
The former first lady and New York senator, formally took on the job of going up against her republican competition, Donald Trump where polls show both candidates contesting quite closely
Clinton will formally accept the nomination on Thursday night, however in a move to bring in the votes of the hardcore Sander supporters (and in appeal to the ‘Bernie Or Die’ movement), the Vermont senator took upon himself to call on his supporters to vote for the former first lady. “I move that Hillary Clinton be selected as the nominee of the Democratic Party for President of the United States,” he said.
