Exams Dept says over 600 students with special needs will sit for key examinations

The Department of Examinations say that more than 600 students with special needs will be siting for this year’s GCE Advanced Level, Ordinary Level and the Grade 5 Scholarship Exams.

Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said that interviews on these students will be conducted in a number of cities. Accordingly, 195 students and 421 students have applied to sit for the Advanced Level Examinations and Grade Five Scholarship Examinations respectively.

Further, the  Commissioner General of Examinations assured that justice would be meted to all students who wish to sit for the exams.
