The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) notes that another 636 areas in the Kegalle district have been identified as landslide risk zones.
Head of the Research and Risk Management Division, R.M.S Bandara stated that 2800 families are at risk as a result.
He added that the area is currently being inspected in order to provide adequate recommendations. He cautioned the general public to avoid these area.
