The inactive third generator of the Norochcholai powerplant is expected to be restored by Saturday.

The third generator of the Norochcholai Power Plant was shut down following a leak reported in one of its boilers on April 11.

A group of officials from the Atomic Energy Authority visited the location to test the machine, subsequent to maintenance work, and they are still engaging in testing.

The Ministry hopes to bring the generator back to normal by Saturday.

This is the 25th instance since 2011, that the Norochcolai Power Plant has stalled. The power plant stalled on four separate occasions during the past four months.
