Panama is creating an international panel to help improve transparency within its off-shore financial industry in the wake of the recent giant data leak.
Several countries have commenced investigations in to the 11.5 million documents with sensitive information on political and public figureheads and associates.
“The Panamanian government, via our foreign ministry, will create an independent commission of domestic and international experts,” said President Juan Carlos Varela who pointed out that Panama would work with other countries over the revelations.
