Police stated that investigations have been launched to apprehend an Israeli national who allegedly stole a number of gem stones from an office in Dehiwala.

Police stated that the Israeli national had allegedly stolen 30 to 35 gem stones from a safe at the office.

The value of the stones have not yet been ascertained. Police added that the Israeli national had maintained ties with the office for quite a long time.
