Measures underway to give compensation to “victimised public servants”

The Ministry of Public Administration and Management stated that measures have been taken in order provide compensation for 12000 public servants who have been affected by the victimisation of the earlier government.

Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Management , J Dadallage stated that compensation is being provided upon the report received by the panel appointed to look into this matter.

He also stated that cabinet approval has been granted for this initiative and 3,000 individuals who were affected by the victimisation of the earlier government have approached the appointed committee.
