The supply of water to several areas in the Colombo District will be suspended, starting on Saturday, February 20, for a period of 16 hours to undertake a modernisation activity.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the supply of water will be suspended from 1.00 p.m. today and last until 5.00 a.m on Sunday the February 2.
It said that the water supply disruption will be effective in the Hanwella, Kaluaggala, Meepe, Padukka, Godagama, Homagama, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Rukmalgama, Pelawatte and Mattegoda areas.
In the meantime, the Water Supply Board said that water will be supplied under low pressure to the Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, and Colombo 08, 09 and 10 areas.
