The COPE committee, has requested agreements signed between the Rakna Lanka Ltd and other parties be validated, in order to be assessed by the Attorney General.
Chairman, MP Sunil Handunetti stated that six government institutions, including one government bank, are set to meet with the COPE committee.
He added that steps have been taken to summon 20 other institutions to meet with the committee.
In addition, he said that, officers at the Elders Secretariat are scheduled to be questioned with regard to the alleged incident of Rs.100 rupees being pilfered from the allocated Rs.2000 given as aid to the elders.
