An individual has been arrested for selling fertiliser for a high, unapproved price in Mahavilachchiya, Dunumadalawa.

According to the police, a bag of fertiliser worth Rs.1200 was sold by the individual for Rs. 2500

The police added that 77 fertiliser bags in his possession were also taken into custody. The owner was released on bail.
