Pakistani PM’s official visit: Special traffic plan in place

The Police Headquarters says that several roads in Colombo will be closed on Monday and Tuesday in line with Pakistani Prime Minister Navaz Sharif’s visit to the country.

Accordingly,  the Katunayake International Airport to Colombo via the Expressway, Bandaranaike Roundabout, Baseline Road, Orugodawatta, Indram Junction, Saddarma Avenue, Pradeepa Mawatha, Sangaraja Roundabout, Panchikawatta, Maradana, Darley Road, Gamini Roundabout, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Regal Roundabout, Parsons Road, Slave Island Police Roundabout, will be restricted from 4.00 p.m.to 6.00  p.m.

Similar restrictions on roads will be in place tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5,  from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. along Parsons Road, Regal Roundabout, Bank Avenue and President Avenue upto Galle Road

Meanwhile, the N.S.A Roundabout to Colpetty Junction will be restricted and Colpetty Juntion towards N.S.A Junction on Galle road, Lotus Road, Ceramic Junction, Regal Roundabout,Parsons Road, Slave Island Police Roundabout will be restricted from  from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and  from 1.30 p.m. till 2.00 p.m.
