Three persons have been arrested in Kandana with 497.6 grammes of heroin in their possession.

Police said that the arrests were made when the suspects were transporting the drug in a three-wheeler Wednesday night.

The suspects, who are residents from Ratmalana, Peliyagoda and Ragama, were scheduled to be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
