Two person were killed in a motor accident near the 106/107km post along the Pelmadulla road in Ratnapura.

According to the police, the accident took place between a van and motorcycle. The deceased were residents from Ja-Ela, aged 19 and 49.

The driver of the van was arrested and is  to be produced before the Ratnapura Magistrate’s Court on Sunday, November 29.
