West Indies managed to put up a score of 214 runs against Sri Lanka in their second ODI. It was J. Charles who held the Windies batting with a fast 83 off 70 balls that included seven fours and 4 sixes. Skipper Samules chipped in with a much needed 63.
The home team came in strong before T.M Dilshan went out for 17 runs to a swinger by Narine that found its way to the stumps. Kusal Perera and Thrimanne managed to put up strong second wicket partenership of 156 runs before Kusal Perera fell , with only one run short of his century and while Thrimanne managed to put up a score of 81.
Dinesh Chandimal and Thirmanne managed to keep their cool as they nursed the Sri Lankans to win the match leaving the series 2-0 in Sri Lanka’s favour
