Sri Lanka struggled to get off to steady start against West Indies, in the second test in Colombo

Sri Lankan top order fell victim to the West Indian bowling as debuting J  Warrican managed to pick up four wickets limiting the home-side for only 200 runs at the end of the first day.

T.A.M Siriwardena managed to keep the home team in the game scoring 68 runs.

West Indies took to the crease but was shaken early, as Dammika Prasad managed to dismiss S.D Hope for only four runs leaving the Windies at 17 for the loss of one wicket and trailing Sri Lanka by 183 run at stumps on day one
