The Department of Examinations says that the second phase of the evaluation of G.C.E. Advanced Level examination papers have begun. According to the Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara, the evaluations will be held until October 9.
The Commissioner General noted that 25 schools will be used for the purpose, out of which six schools will be entirely used for examination assessments from Monday, September 28 until October 9 and will re-open on October 12.
Accordingly, Ananda College Colombo, Lakdaas Maha Vidyalaya, Kurunegala, Sudharma College Galle, Rahula College Matara , Seevali Navodya Maha Vidyalaya and Vishaka Girls High School Badulla have been named as the schools which are to be closed for the purpose.
