Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, on Sunday, issued a statementnoting that recommendations that are harmful to Sri Lanka, must be removed from the resolution that has been submitted to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The statement reads that if the resolution is to be adopted by consensus in the Human Rights Council, then it must reflect the hopes of the people of Sri Lanka.
