Views were expressed at two meetings that suitable persons have lost their position within the cabinet of good governance.

Leader of Janasetha Peramuna,Venerable Battaramulle Seelarathana Thera stated that persons like Buddhika Pathirana and several others who contested under the United National Front of the United National Party are serving as MPs.

He further questioned what has happened to them, and added that MPs with majority votes are on one side while the ethanol dealers, drug dealer, thieves, rapists and casino owners who were rejected by the people have been included in to parliament through the National List. And they were given big portfolios but persons who pulled the weight are not taken on in the parade

UPFA MP, Vidura Wickramanayake noted that under Good Governance, injustice cannot take place however, there are different servings taking place in the country. He said:

I will use the same to spread my power and retain it and those who you rejected at the polls are seated with us in Parliament and some are ministers. But this is not fair and this does not seem democratic
