The police have decided to carry out a DNA test in order to identify the suspect in connection to the murder of the girl in Kotadeniyawa.
They went on to note that the material required for the tests to be conducted will be handed over on Wednesday, September 16. The police have taken steps to obtain a court in order to conduct the tests.
The tests will be carried out by the Gene-Tech Institute. According to the police, two strands of hair found on the body of the child will be handed over for DNA testing.
