Sixty flights have been delayed at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport due to a fire breaking out, according to the airport’s online display board.

The number of delays could increase. There is information on 50 further flights coming up, both arrivals and departures. 3,000 people have been evacuated, and the fire has been contained.

The Russian Emergency Ministry stated that cables had caught fire in the airport’s baggage department, in an area covering approximately 20 square meters.
