The owner of a shop in Wattala has been murdered by an unidentified group. It is said that the body of the victim had been severely mutilated.

Police state that the murder took place on Wednesday morning when the victim was returning home from the mosque with his son. The victim was a fifty-four-year-old individual. The body of the deceased is currently lying at the Ragama Hospital.
