Central Provincial Minister Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon who was arrested on Sunday for allegedly assaulting a group of political supporters, was released on bail.

Police said that the Central Provincial Minister and two others were arrested on charges of assaulting a group of political supporters in the Rathmalagaha ela area in Dambulla.
