Former MP Pathirana comments on what to expect from candidates after nominations deadline

At an event to distribute high-nutrition food packs to underweight children under the ‘Samadhi Kekulu Suwasetha’ programme in Pitabeddara on July 12, former parliamentarian Buddhika Pathirana spoke of what can be expected from candidates after the acceptance of nominations conclude at noon on Monday, July 13.

The former UNP Parliamentarian added that whether or not he is in the face of an election, he is a person who does not stop running. Therefore, he said, when an election is at reach, he just has wave his hand.

He went on to invite all media organizations and TV channels on Monday night to show how those who are trying to get elected to parliament to formulate laws of the country, will behave by Monday afternoon. He asked people not to cast votes for the person who supplies the most alcohol.
