Minister Lakshman Kiriella says that they will be committed towards the establishment of a national government after the upcoming general election.
The minister made this observation while addressing a meeting in Kandy.
The minister further stated that, after the election, they will join hands with the ‘good people’ of the SLFP, and form a national government. He said:
We will not consider the thieves for this. A national government doesn’t mean sharing the ministerial posts. A national government is the joining of the two main parties to find solutions to the problems of the country in the coming five years. After this, all the governments that follow will have to adopt this procedure.
