The fourth day of the second test got underway at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium in Colombo on Sunday.

Pakistan’s resilience however, has left them in a good place at the close of play on Saturday, with the visiting team trailing only by six runs, and with eight wickets in hand. The Pakistan team managed to put up 171 runs on the board only losing two wickets with a brilliant second wicket partnership between Ahmed Shehzad and Azhar Ali.
Dhammika Prasad was the pick of the Lankan bowlers bagging 4 for 92, while Test debutante Dushmantha Chameera picked up 3 for 53.
With Sri Lanka needing 153 runs to win the match, rain forced play to be called off early with the Lankan innings yet to commence.
