Another phase of the ‘Sasunata Aruna’ programme, an initiative of Minister Sajith Premadasa, was held in the Ambalantota area.
Minister Sajith Premadasa donated a sum of Rs. 100,000 for development of the Hedawinna Migadasa Aranya Senasanaya Sri Isipathana Sunday School.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Sajith Premadasa said the government will not allow the country to be a state of drugs for any reason. The minister said Sri Lanka was previously on a journey towards being a state for casinos, prostitution, rape and child harassment.
He added that the main target of the current president and prime minister is to create an era where the people rule, an era where human lives are given value, and given the freedom to live to create a strong and healthy nation for all of its people.
