A member of the Police Special Task Force who was allegedly involved in a ganja racket was taken into custody. Police Media Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekera stated that 400gms of ganja was allegedly found with the suspect.

The suspect was a police constable of the Special Task Force camp at Kebithigollewa, Puliyan-kulama Anuradhapura.

The suspect is to be produced  before the Anuradhapura Magistrate Court.
