An individual attempting to travel to Canada with a forged visa was arrested at the Katunayake International Airport on Saturday, June 20.

Police said the individual arrested is a 27-year-old from Jaffna and was intending to travel to Canada via japan.

They added that he was also carrying another forged visa to Netherlands. The individual is scheduled to be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court on June 20.
