Four persons involved in the Heroin trade have been arrested by the police in Welipenna, Boralesgamuwa, and Colombo.

The Police Media Unit stated that, based on a tip-off received by the Crimes division, 21.7 milligrammes of Heroin were found in Borella, 21.280 milligrammes in Dematagoda, where the two suspects were then brought into police custody.

In addition, 4.5 milligrammes were found in Boralesgamuwa and 2.380 milligrammes in Welipenna. Two suspects were taken into custody in relation to this incident.

The suspects are due to be produced before court on Saturday, June 20.
